First Impressions

The Keychron Q1 Pro is a beast. The aluminum chassis feels incredibly premium and heavy. It stays planted on my desk no matter how aggressively I type.

The Typing Experience

I opted for the Banana switches, which provide a nice tactile bump without being too loud. The gasket mount design gives the board a soft, bouncy feel that makes typing a joy.

Pros

Cons

• ❌ Stock keycaps are just okay
• ❌ Battery life could be better with RGB on

Customization

I swapped the keycaps for a set of GMK clones with a Japanese sublegend to match my anime aesthetic. It looks stunning!

Verdict

For the price, it’s hard to beat the Q1 Pro. It’s a great entry point into the world of custom mechanical keyboards.
